Nurses helping nurses
Ask practical questions, compare dated experiences and help another Filipino nurse understand the next safe step—without exposing private records or treating peer advice as a regulator decision.
Compare the systems, not the hype
Before comparing countries, identify who actually makes the licensing decision. The authority model changes the order, transferability and evidence.
UK · Ireland · Singapore · New Zealand
One national regulator leads the professional-registration decision, though employment and immigration remain separate.
US · Canada · Germany · UAE
A state, province, Land or emirate must be chosen first. One jurisdiction’s outcome may not transfer automatically.
Spain · Italy · Austria · Netherlands
The foreign qualification is recognised or nostrified before the professional register or local practice step.
Singapore · Malaysia · Dubai activation
An eligible employer must submit, sponsor or activate part of the licensing route.
The universal logic
Countries change the order, but no credible pathway turns one approval into every approval.
Current PRC registration, identity, education, transcripts, good standing and recent-practice evidence.
The destination regulator decides equivalence, required evidence and any education gaps.
English or local-language proof, exam, adaptation, clinical assessment or supervised practice where required.
Registration, licence, practising certificate or local college membership—depending on the system.
A verified role, lawful work status and any employer sponsorship or licence activation.
DMW/MWO processing and the correct overseas-employment clearance before departure.
Before you pay anyone
A regulator can confirm nursing requirements. Only the proper Philippine authority can confirm a recruiter, job order or overseas-employment process. Check both.
Research standard
We found a current official regulator or government starting point for a nurse educated and/or registered in the Philippines. We did not treat recruiter posts, salary articles, anecdotes or search-result snippets as pathway authority.
Read this before choosing
No. It means an official foreign-qualification route or starting point was documented. The regulator still assesses your education, licence, practice history, language, character and other facts individually.
The directory does not rank destinations that way. A short route for one applicant can be unavailable to another because of jurisdiction, curriculum, experience, language, employer or immigration rules.
No. Professional registration, employment, immigration permission and Philippine deployment clearance are separate approvals. A positive result in one does not guarantee the others.
Dubai is an emirate, not a country. The current full guide covers the Dubai Health Authority route. Abu Dhabi, the federal MOHAP jurisdiction and Dubai Healthcare City have separate licensing authorities.
Its authority currently pauses ordinary applications from nurses educated and/or resident outside the EU/EEA under a quota. The official page lists limited exceptions, so it should not be marketed as an ordinarily open route.
No. An omitted country is unverified—not closed. The directory publishes a destination only after a current official route for a Philippine-trained applicant has been found and reviewed.
